Lady Raider Soccer Tryouts

Tryouts for all girls at either Taft or Communications Arts High Schools who are interested in playing soccer will be held on Monday, November 28, 2012, at 7:00 AM on the soccer field.

All players trying out MUST meet the following conditions:

 1. Register with Coach Davis (In Room 248 before school, 1st, 2nd, 4th, 7th, or after school)

 2. Complete a NISD Physical packet and have it turned in to the trainers NO LATER than November 18, 2011. The packet can be obtained in the trainer's office or printed from the NISD Athletics Page.

• Physicals are a UIL requirement and no player may try out without one. Please DO NOT turn these in to Coach Davis. They MUST go to the trainer's office. 
• Physicals must be turned in to the trainer's office by November 18. Please do not expect to be able to try out if you arrive at tryouts with your physical in hand. The trainers will not be able to verify and accept it before tryouts start that day.

3. All players trying out must be academically eligible as of the tryout date.


We realize the tryouts are very early on a Monday morning after a holiday. This is on purpose. We want to see who takes being on our soccer teams seriously enough to make the effort to be there at that time. Please be prompt. We expect our players to be on time to everything, and tardiness to the tryout does not help your chances of making the team.
